Despite contact as to arrival I was treated as an interloper when I arrived. Little directions given eg drive around the front or the back? Other motels often have the lights on in your room and during winter the AC on, not here.

Very friendly staff. The chef who cooked my family breakfast was top knotch. Very kind and attentive. The rooms are massive and spacious. We enjoyed our time there that much that we had to rebook to stay with them again.

We booked on our way. Not sure how far we would get that day on our journey. Perfect hosts. Large very comfy room. Spotlessly clean. Great accessories in bathroom which isnt always the case. Dining room for Dinner and Breakfast also a winner. Our waitress was super efficient to.

The location is good if travelling being on the highway and quiet. The bed was relatively comfortable. Some attention required to pest control due to us finding a cockroach in our room, big enough to ride which didn’t make us feel like we could use the plates, bowls etc.

We enjoyed the space of the rooms. A bit dated and in need of some TLC but overall met the needs of our family with kids so we could explore the Newcastle and Hunter Valley region. Staff were nice and restaurant was pretty cool being inside a glasshouse basically with trees inside and a few toys in the corner for our littlest one. Thank you 😊 yummy pizza!
