Good location. Bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately there was very heavy rain and water penetrated the air conditioning duct in the bathroom. It needs attention

Good location

The location and condition of the property were very good. Unfortunately, we found our bed quite soft, meaning we didn’t sleep very well. Certainly not the fault of the staff, but someone had been smoking - maybe in the next room. The smell was very strong. I'm not sure if there was also a dog next door, but it was barking intermittently from early morning till we left at 9.30.

Pleasant stay

We stayed at Crown on Darby for a weekend trip and it was excellent. The location is close to everything and paid parking was convenient and reasonable. The receptionists are also very helpful and friendly. The room itself was big, clean and comfy. We also enjoyed using the fitness centre.

We were surprised at the size of the 2bedrooms suite. It was a lot larger than we thought it would be, full size fridge and everything. We will definitely stay there again when stopping in Newcastle!Receptionist were very helpful and friendly

The property is looking tired, requires refurbishing. Air conditioning is very noisy. Water pressure is poor. Shower tap is in a dangerous position once the hot water comes through.

Great overnight stay at the Crown on Darby. 2 bed, 2 bath accommodation. Very modern and clean. Situated on Darby St where there was a lot of choice of places to eat and drink. Would have been nice to stay a few more nights but on a road trip.
