The building design is original & I think very successful.I enjoyed the curves in the building being reflected in the furnishings. The position is amazing. Being next to City Hall & opposite Civic Park, it was a lively scene with several events taking place while we were there. Twice we entertained visitors, & were grateful to the staff for taking them & us up to the restaurant to show them the view, although the floor was officially closed at those times. It is a short walk to the harbour & to Darby St, so we were able to get simple meals when we didn't want the bigger offerings from the hotel, & we could enjoy the ambience in those places.
