We like the Holiday Inn for it's location to the Newcastle CBD. The room we had was c Very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Check-in and checkout was easy and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We would stay there again.

The room and bathroom were excellent but the area for dinner was not the best. Only 2 staff behind the bar and they were checking a group of people in. O-one to take an order for dinner - was just told to order on the app. It was a bit of a soul-less experience - Just us and one other couple on a Friday night. Breakfast however was very good and included in our rate.

45 min walk to Nobbys beach. Parking is free outside from 5pm to 9am but we parked under the hotel for $20 as we wanted breakfast and not check out untill 11am.

Great value hotel in Newcastle
Stayed for 2 nights in a park view room. Quick and friendly check in process. Good size, well appointed, modern room. Great location, couple of mins drive to the center of Newcastle and restaurants on Darby Street. Breakfast included in the rate - good choice of hot and cold food. Nice bar area. Has become our go to hotel in Newcastle.
