The location is excellent. Public transport links are great with trams and buses nearby. Short walk to the harbourside (100 metres) and a 10 minute walk to the beautiful beaches. Plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby. The apartment was good size with seperate bedroom , bathroom and a large air conditioned lounge with a settee, tv & dining table. It was very comfortable and the small well equipped kitchen was ideal for our needs. Our room had a view over the old train station ( now home to a number of small shops) to the harbour and Customs House. The washing machine and tumble dryer included in the apartment came in very handy during our stay. We didnt need parking but there is an underground secure car park at an additional daily cost. The staff are brilliant here. They couldn't be more friendly or helpful and made us feel welcome during our stay. A welcome note and small bag of treats already in our apartment was a nice touch. Always asking how guests are doing and happy to have a friendly chat. They went out of their way to help us with all manner of useful information and kindly looked after our belongings while we were away for a few days before returning to the apartment. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
