Staff so slow and make you wait without even acknowledging you. Both at check in and at dinner, oh and also breakfast! Worse bed ever. Can barely move in the bathroom.

Nice place to stay easy to find and plenty of parking spaces. Chose here as reasonably priced and close to a running event a family member was attending

The rooms were really spacious. Beds comfortable but pillows were extremly hard and may need to be replaced. The sofa bed set up for our little girl was not that comfy and matress has probably seen better days. The facilities were fine a bit tired but functional. It would have been great to have a mini fridge in the room but there were tea and coffee making facilties. Breakfast was excellent and staff in the restaurant and check in were really friendly.

Good for a short stay

At check in our room wasn’t yet ready even tho we arrived after the allotted time. However reception were hugely apologetic and kindly reserved us a table in their very busy lobby area (there was a wedding going on) and brought us drinks whilst we waited. The room on the ground floor was large but dated. The AC didn’t work, not ideal on a very warm weekend. Also, the tv had been unplugged from the power and the aerial cable removed, I assume by the previous occupants. Luckily we were able to find the cable and put it all back together. The bed is very large and comfortable. The bathroom is also a good size with an excellent shower. A good hotel for a very short stay, otherwise the AC not working could have become a real problem.

Not impressed at all. I booked an accessible room, there was no mention of limitations to getting to the room but my upright rollator was too tall to use on the platform to get me up the 5-6 stairs to reach the accessible bedroom. The staff member told me there was an alternative route & then proceeded to walk me (at pace, even seeing I walk using a rollator & knee brace) round the outside of the hotel, down a steep slope & in through a back door (which was locked between midnight - 6am so between those hours, I had no way to enter the hotel) Arriving in the room, although it was large, that’s the only positive. The bed was small (a double with a very soft mattress & flat pillows), there was damp patches on the wall, the bathroom floor had toothpaste patches from the previous resident(s) which shows the floor hadn’t been cleaned, the fridge stank & had pooled water inside plus wasn’t the slightest bit cold. The air conditioning just about took the heat out of the room but the unit was at the opposite end to the bed & the bathroom was stifling (I had to check the radiator to make sure it wasn’t on as the bathroom was that warm) I previously had rated Holiday Inn above the likes of Travelodge

What can I say? I paid I full before arriving at the hotel but at check in I was asked for a deposit off £30 with was a pre approved payment, when I check my bank the deposit had be taken out and when I asked about this I was told I would get the money back in 5 days! I wasn’t warned about this when I booked, we check in late around 9.30 and there was a wedding on and we got told it was going to be on until 1am, when we got to the room there where a lot of hairs in the shower and bathroom floor after talking to raj about this I was offered a refund and we could leave but all I wanted as a clean room, I was told the hotel was fully booked and raj came to the room and cleaned the shower but when I checked the booking app there where rooms available! Not the best start to are stay
