Upon arrival, I was shocked to find the room in an unacceptable state of cleanliness. There were visible stains and dust that indicated a lack of proper maintenance, which is particularly concerning for someone like me with asthma. Due to the unsanitary conditions, I felt it would jeopardize my health, so I chose not to stay. The good news is that the hotel management was understanding and allowed me to cancel my reservation without any issues. While the staff was accommodating, the overall cleanliness of the hotel needs significant improvement. I hope the management addresses these concerns so future guests have a better experience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend staying here based on my visit.

Liked the location. Room setup for end unite king suite quite awkward. Furniture quite uncomfortable. Wall plugs not working. Bland decor. No extra blankets or pillows in room. Had to request them. Airconditioning worked well.

The property is very old, and very rundown. I booked a king suite. It was very poorly lit. The tub had no drain plug to allow for using it as a tub. The mattress was uncomfortable, and squeaky. There were holes in the bathroom door. The bottom of the entry door was broken. We could see the hallway from the room. I was charged $684 for two nights. I feel like I’ve been scammed. Please don’t stay here. Expedia shouldn’t even rep this hotel.

Older hotel, but clean. The hotel was fine for our one-night stay to attend a wedding. You can walk to a beach and access to the Cliff Walk from here, but expect to drive a bit to visit downtown Newport.

Staying off season, we hoped for a quieter experience but found the staff to be very loud, waking us frequently in the early mornings. The location is terrific and the lack of rugs should make cleaning easier, but the rooms smelled damp and musty. Shower dripped constantly. Pool was nice. Not sure we would stay again.

I wish they had a better morning coffee bar. I like milk, not artificial creamers. It was not as fresh as other places. Other than that I know I will return. The location had a lovely deck with lounge chairs, great ocean views. Just what I needed.
