Staff was great. Everyone was very friendly . King suite was exactly like the pictures. Convenient drive to Thames street and Breakers Mansion. Extremely windy during our stay making it feel colder than it was. Next time we want to return during the summer. Would stay here again.

The room had a nice divider wall between the 2 beds for privacy. The view of the bay was nice. The room was clean but the building was old and very noisy. No carpet, screaming kids, slow elevator. The worst part was an unexpected 10 dollar per day fee for no reason. Front desk said it started in Covid and they just never removed it. The pool was in a completely seperate bldg. No onsite restaurant. Deceptive advertising.

I had a nice room on the third floor with two comfortable beds and an ocean view. Clean bedroom with mini fridge and microwave. Hotel is easy to find and lots of parking, some of it covered parking. The fellow who checked me in was cheery and efficient. There is a gym on the 3rd floor and an indoor swimming pool on the lobby floor. Pool was too cold for my liking to swim in, but good to soak my feet after walking about 15 miles that day. The only complaint about this hotel is its very noisy - mechanical type noises like maintenance is being done, though I didn't see anyone doing construction. At one point I was lying on my bed and the entire room was shaking - it was like being on a vibrating bed! I sleep with ear plugs, so the noise didn't keep me awake. But during waking hours at the hotel, there was constant noise. Some of it could be attributed to the elevator. I walked down to the 2nd floor where the ice machine is located and it was making a lot of noise. The closest beach is about a 3 minute walk away, and that's mostly due to waiting for the pedestrian lights. I liked that I could walk from the hotel to the Cliff Walk, though it adds an extra mile each direction. A couple of dining options nearby. It's better to drive 2 miles into Newport for much more choices. A nearby gas station has a convenience store selling coffee, fountain drinks, slurpees, and some fresh bakery items. Overall a nice stay. I'd choose this hotel again, but I deduct a star due to the noise.

I reached at 11pm and there was no staff at the counter. I called the number and the person hung up and never answered on a redial. The location is good but not ocean facing in case someone is looking for that.

The blinds in the room are transparent and we had bright lights from the parking lot shining through the room all night. The night check in person was not friendly. There is no lobby per se, no restaurant and the hotel is on a very busy street corner and loud car truck and motorcycle noise comes into the room.
