Not worth the price. Photos are false advertising!
Whoever took the photos for the hotel is a magician. It made it look like a resort, but upon our arrival we were tempted to eat the cost of the first night and move to a different property because the first impression is that of an old, badly maintained hotel facing an ugly street far from the center of Newport. Besides the location near the beach, this hotel has nothing to justify the price nor the gushing reviews. The people at the reception have a pretty bad attitude as well. Room was spacious and clean, but I would not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it unless you can get a very good price.

I've stayed here multiple times over the years and enjoy the surrounding dining options and how close it is to Easton Beach. The Hotel is kept very clean and Rooms are cleaned each day. i will continue to stay here as long as the price per night remains competitive with area Hotels.

The beds were comfortable. The scenery outside our window was not. At first when we checked in, they put us in a room on 1st floor, hallway to get to room had a bad odor of urine & view outside our window was an old building being worked on. I requested a new room. Was moved to second floor. For a suite, I believe it should be ocean view (we had a view of a swamp). :(

Good location not far from the cliff walk, mansions and the town of Newport itself. The hotel itself was ok the rooms Soundproofing was not the best and there were some broken fixtures. Restaurant across the road was good with plenty of choice and generous portions

It is not only a nice, wellkept, comfortable place to stay but the location is absolutely perfect. It is in the middle of everything. There is the beach across the street and several good restaurants and other eateries within easy walking distance. Would highly recommend.

Appears that hotel has undergone a remodel. Our room was very clean, roomy and pleasant. Across the street from the beach makes for a pleasant walk.
