The staff were very accommodating. The room was extremely small with a tiny bathroom with no counter space. No mini refrigerator or microwave or restaurant on site. I should have read the amenities more closely and a the reviews. The location was excellent and the hotel’s decor and feel were also excellent. For the price, it would have been nice to have had a larger room and bathroom and mini fridge and microwave since there was not a restaurant on site. I will read more closely when I book my next trip. Again, the staff was great and so was the location and decor!

Great location. Staff (Carlos) was super helpful! The view out our window could not have been any better! Absolutely gorgeous! Quant area with shops and restaurants right across from us. Room was modern and perfect! Will definitely return.

The front desk folks at Hammett’s are lovely. We made the same trip to Newport last fall and complained about the terrible water pressure in the showers, but nothing has changed. It’s difficult to rinse shampoo out of one’s hair, so a shower takes a long time. The rooms are very very small, but the location is perfect.

Perfect location, yes, but if you’re used to amenities like in room coffee and space to unpack and move around this isn’t for you. It felt more like a dorm room at a university. Its barebones style is cute but not for everyone. Very disappointed with our stay. 😒 No where to unpack. No ironing board and the iron provided is like a toy. Not very effective. The front desk agent was rude when I tried to check in. Rudely directing me to where we needed to park and WHO had to check in, the person whose name the reservation is under must be the one to check in, with a valid id. I’ve never had a problem checking my husband and myself in anywhere. I understand the policy BUT it was the manner and tone in which she communicated that was less than friendly. I should add that the person that checked us in eventually, is not the one I’m talking about. It was a different front desk agent because after our encounter I had to go get my husband and when we came back it was someone else that took care of us. She was friendly. The tiny rooms were a big disappointment. We booked 2 rooms at an average of over $450 a night each and stayed 4 nights. We definitely expected more. They could use a bigger selection of snacks and drinks to offer guests for purchase. They have a couple organic juices and organic cookies. That’s it. The morning coffee in the lobby I guess is the alternative to having it in the rooms but if you’re going to go that route, you should have it on each floor so that guests

No amenities no bar or restaurant on site for late night. Our shower was terrible. Rooms are small. Plus is it is convenient to attractions. There was coffee in the morning. Very expensive with taxes and fees.

The hotel was in a great location in the staff were incredibly receptive…. The hotel had an Italian restaurant that was connected to it, and the staff at the restaurant could not have been more rude to me and my guess… It completely ruined my Newport experience don’t go to the Italian restaurant
