Booked two nights for my elderly parents as a birthday gift. I was not expecting to have to pay a “destination fee” when they arrived. They called to let me know that the hotel was charging another $100?? A other $100 for two nights! Unbelievable. Beware of that when booking!! Their room was dirty and they found trash under their bed. Will not be booking again.

I didn’t like the ice machine on our floor not working for our 4 day stay. I feel a hotel of this caliber should have had this machine fixed immediately. I was also disappointed in the lack of amenities in our room. I am used to a small bar of soap at the sink and make-up removers and even a shower cap.

We didn’t get any sleep because of a broken tub that dripped all night and filled with water. House keeping did nothing until we checked out when it was overflowing. We should not be charged for this stay.

Wonderful elegant hotel. While it's a large hotel, it felt intimate. The staff was helpful and eager to please. It's a short walk to excellent, high end shopping. There are a few restaurants within a short walk, but for most a short ride is better, We will return.

Staff not helpful. 2nd night, around midnight a staff member broke into our room (with other guests with him). Broke the safety latch to get in. No apology or acknowledgment from management.

Property was conveniently located but the water pressure was a trickle and if you put the hotcwater as high as it could go, it was warm - not hot. We also had to wait 25 min to get our car from the valet due to disorganization. Room was fine but with the issues we faced at the price we paid, I presume we will find another place to stay when we are next in Newport.

The hotel is in a wonderful location, very easy to walk to the downtown! Only issue we had was with cleanliness of our room (sheets, bathroom) and the facilities were a little dated.
