Our experience was awful. We booked through Expedia. Upon arrival we were told we did not have a reservation. They then “found my reservation” and said it had been canceled and told me to contact Expedia. I did and Expedia customer service said nothing was canceled and I 100% had a confirmed booking. They asked to put me on a brief hold to call motel 6. I was standing in the lobby and could hear the phone ring multiple times. The front desk woman that day did not answer the phone. Then told me she refused to answer because there was no manager to talk to Expedia and she refused to. Then proceeded to tell me my reservation was canceled and there was zero rooms available. We were in Newport for my brothers wedding and had the rehearsal dinner that we were running short of time. So my husband and I went out in parking lot frantically looking for other hotles in the area. Motel 6 popped up saying they had THEEE available rooms for that night. So my husband went back in and showed the front desk clerk. She began to tell him that the internet was wrong and there was none. After a few minutes she said let me call my manager and come back in in 5 minutes. My husband waited and went back in. In 5 minutes. Magically she had a room for us. It was 10min of 5 (5 was the start of my brothers wedding rehearsal dinner) so we ran to our room and quickly got ready. When we entered the room was filthy. Pee in the toliet. Hair all over bathroom sink. We checked out next morning.

False advertisement

I should have taken pictures looked nothing like the photo I saw on line I did not know I booked a room that was considered a smoking room the whole hallway smelt like cigarettes it was awful and the doors to the second floor had no smoking signs the front desk was rude the first floor smelt like mold I could go on it was awful hotel 6 should. Really take a long hard look at this hotel

If not for the convenience of being next door to a shopping plaza and the low price, this would deserve negative stars. The whole place gave "crack den" vibes and smelled terrible. The smell changed several times, like some kind of awful Russian roulette of stink. The room was bare, filthy, and there were stains on the "clean" sheets. Worst hotel experience I could have ever imagined. Human trafficking awareness poster in the lobby was a great touch.

The entire room was damp including the bed sheets and towels in bathroom. We noticed spots of black mold on bathroom ceiling.

I work 16 hours a day, I understand people are on vacation. I should not have to listen to others yelling and partying and dogs barking like mad. During reservations you should ask if for business or personal so you can separate the two and move those who are noisy not the ones who can't sleep because you can't do your job of controlling your hotel. Also fix the water pressure.

This might be the most disgusting motel I’ve ever been to. Not only was the lobby a disaster, which in hindsight should’ve been my first red flag, but the room we stayed in was beyond filthy. Cobwebs all over the place, dust and mold growing on the walls and floor, and the bathtub was covered in visible stains. The staff were extremely rude and unwelcoming, and on top of all this, I found out I got a horrible infection from my stay because of all the mold. I do not recommend this place one but and if I could I’d demand a full refund. Worst stay ever and hope the place gets shut down for its disgusting atmosphere.

Dirty, dirty, dirty. Mold on the floor and stains on the sheets. Left right away and they would not refund us after a woman told us we would get refunded the next day when the manager was on duty.
