The Brenton is an exceptional hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted with the friendliest valet. He was so helpful and seemed happy to see us. From then on each staff member we met was kind and knowledgeable. The hotel is spotless and the rooms were spacious. The “living room” was a great place to sit and enjoy the views as well as a great place to meet other travelers. I can’t wait to go back. I was so impressed!

This was our first stay at The Benton Hotel and it did not disappoint. The hotel is located on the harbor in the middle of all the great shopping and dining Newport has to offer. The hotel is new, with a great lounge area, an amazing rooftop deck, and comfortable rooms. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. This will be our go-to hotel in Newport for all our future visits.

Everything about the Brenton was great. We wanted to be in downtown Newport on the harbor without all the crowds. The location overlooking Bowen wharf is perfect with views looking over old town and straight out towards the bridge. I was seconds to the best shops, restaurants, ferry although the hotel was so beautiful, I didn't really want to leave. Our suite was large and luxurious. You feel as if you are on a private yacht. Every detail was perfect. My family loved the pantry in the hall that served sparkling and flat chilled water, icecream sandwiches, lemon ice and Hoodsie cups. The fresh cookies and turn down service was a nice touch. Morning yoga on the roof top garden was great and afternoon cocktails at sunset was as well.

Beautiful boutique hotel in Newport
This gorgeous hotel was situated in a beautiful spot and everything about it was just wonderful. The decor is stunning. The rooftop happy hour for guests-only was beautiful with a view of the harbor and the breeze blowing. We only stayed one night but would go back in a heartbeat.

The Brenton is situated right on the waterfront with plenty of restaurants to choose from! The hotel itself is quite new and the entire staff was great.. Customer service was top notch! We will be back someday..
