We loved everything about the property, especially that there was parking! The staff was very friendly and helpful when we needed a tylenol. The shower was hot, but the tub was shallow. The bed was very comfortable and the room temperature was i'm very comfortable. We were up in time to grab some coffee buttThe food needed to be microwaved. There were no directions, and it didn't seem to get cooked enough. Overall, we absolutely enjoyed our stay there and we will be returning!

We had an excellent overnight stay. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. The lovely lady at the front desk was so sweet. Highly recommend!

Cozy stay
Front office staff attentive and professional. Beds comfortable. Felt safe sleeping there solo as a female. Tv had many channels. Offered breakfast but did not personally have any due to time restrictions. Plenty of towels and clean room. Only thing is my room was as soon as you walked into lobby and walls were paper thin. But did not deter from my night sleep. Plenty of parking.

What a gem so close to downtown Newport and the mansions! I love the comfortable ambience of this inn that feels like being a special guest in someone’s home. I have an amazing spacious room. I’ll be back!

Great place to stay!
The Carriage House is very close to downtown (just about 10 mins away). We stayed in the executive suite with 2 king beds, which was very comfortable for two kids and two adults. The beds were very comfortable and the room very clean. Check-in was very easy. Great place to stay!

The staff was top notch. Super clean - our room which was adjacent to a common area was unfortunately loud when people were congregating. Otherwise very very reasonable and close to a huge variety of dining options.

The rooms were very basic but we appreciated how comfortable the bed and pillows were after a long day of traveling. The breakfast option (sandwiches) left a lot to be desired. We weren’t crazy about those.
