We were greeted by stepping on dog poop in the lobby and we checked out with vomit all over the lobby, and my daughter found a dead mouse in the pool. Not to mention other crazy guests that stayed on our floor screaming and cursing at us and accusing us of disturbing her dog and all the other dogs on the floor by slamming our room door, as we were walking down the hall to our room as we returned from a nice dinner in town. This was for sure our SH&$%EST hotel stay ever! Literally speaking

Cute, clean rooms and lobby!

It’s super cute and the staff worked hard to be warm professional and friendly— all seemed so young and eager to please. I’d give it a 5 across the board EXCEPT when I checked in they gave me a key to an occupied room! Thank God the occupants were not in the room. We opened the door, peeked in and quickly closed the door and scurried away. That was not cool! Made me uneasy that someone might barge in my room so made sure the door was locked when I was in the room. And every time I left I was paranoid that my valuables might disappear while I was away (took my laptop and left it in the car whenever I left the hotel). Nothing ever happened and all was fine. Far away (12 minute drive) from everything you’ll want to do in Newport, but it’s cute. All fabric covered seats in the restaurant need to be replaced— the peach upholstery was stained and gross.

You really need to service the room for that price

It's a nice hotel, but for the price you cannot do the rooms. They did not do the room the day after our first night and I had to ask to get it done the next day. We are pretty nead, so we could manage, but in my brother room, there were two kids, so you really expect to find your room done when you come back at the end of the day. The front desk provided the coffee cups and sugar package replacements, and the towels my broader requested (It took a few request, though). We also got the hotel extra fees for one day reduced. But that is not the point. The location is good, just a few minutes by car from the town.

hotel was convenient, room was clean but AC unit was the loudest I've ever heard, it actually shook the room. sleeping was difficult, a check with others indicated they had the same issue no no sense in asking for a room change

I love everything about the rooms and the staff. The bar staff and wait staff are amazing also. But the hours and menu choices are not conducive for families, or business people trying to have a cocktail after 10pm, or mid day. Lastly, the hotel GM is the reason I will always choose this hotel over others, she is wonderful and always been appreciative of all her guests!

Property needs some refreshing, not pleasant small inside the hotel. The management doesn't respect the Expedia Platinum membership for VIP upgrade or any extras. They did not respond for my earlier request for upgrade or something extra for an ouers anniversary. They sent me an offer for $11 pay for room upgrade and $33 for late check-out. After my complain in front desk they did not charge for resort fees- thank you.

Hotel was ok and served its purpose (was in town for Newport Folk Fest) but I had an overcharge dispute with Expedia and despite providing all of the relevant documentation and reaching out numerous times, neither Expedia nor the Wayfinder offered me any assistance in trying to resolve the issue. Terribly disappointing and will never use either service again.
