Our suite was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The fireplace even worked with dura flame logs which you could get at the front desk. There was plenty of parking which in Newport can be an issue. The rooms were spacious and the bars were comfortable. This was a very affordable and relaxing place to stay.

I love the Wellington's site and walkability to everything. Its proximity makes it convenient to everything, but just far enough away from the crowds. The parking is plentiful for the area. It does need some tlc however as the units are looking dated and paint is peeling.

I just love the suites! It is advertised as a room, but it has two bedrooms, a living room/dining room and a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, and washer/dryer in each unit. The Wellington is incredible and affordable. There isn't anything about it that I don't like. Can't wait to go back.

Our go to place in Newport
Wellington resort is our go to place for when we visit Newport. The suites are perfect for our family and very affordable. The staff was great.

Very happy with the property. One comment is there is a door to an outside stairwell in the unit. There is no way of locking this such as a deadbolt. Young children could get out easily; there needs to be a deadbolt option on that door

Amazing views!!
We had a nice time here. The views were amazing and it was in a walkable and great location. Pools looked great but we didn’t have time to go in. The beds were comfortable but there was a great need for updates and maintenance. Even with that said, I wish our stay had been longer and we would stay there again.

A perfect end to our New England road trip. The apartment was extremely spacious and clean with a well equipped kichen. The lady on check in / check out was cheerful, friendly and polite. Watching the sun set from the balcony each evening was wonderful and we were able to leave the car & walk wherever we wanted to go. The boat show was on during our visit and very busy, so it was nice to be slightly away from the hustle & bustle, but still close enough to walk to restaurants & bars.

Absolutely beautiful views from the balcony. Walk right out to shopping and restaurants. Location couldnt have been better and the staff at the front desk were so helpful with great recommedations of places to eat.

Really large apartment with 2 good size bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & good size lounge/diner with balcony & sea views. Only negative was the kitchen was a bit small & there was no hob for cooking or kettle for making tea. But there was a dishwasher, combo oven, microwave & even a washing machine.

A gem
We stayed there for a family wedding. The staff made sure all of our family members were in rooms near one another and were very friendly. In addition, the views are fantastic, and the facility is close to everything.

This has the potential to be a great property, as the staff was always really nice and friendly and the location can't be beat. However, we stayed for 3 nights and I was a little taken aback that nobody came to empty the trash or make sure that we had enough toilet paper. We ended up running out and called the front desk only to find out that it is not staffed at night and it is an answering service. I understand the check-in says if you want room cleaned, you need to provide 24 hours notice. I don't consider emptying a trash barrel or providing a roll of toilet paper cleaning service. So, if you're looking for a no-frills property, you found it. I guess I didn't realize toilet paper was a frill?!
