Very Disappointing
I booked a villa with private pool on the beachfront, I got a studio on the 11th floor. I booked at Vinpearl Nha Trang Bay Villas and ended up at Vinpearl Nha Trang Bay Villas & Resort and in the highrise resort part. Not sure if I've been "ripped" by Expedia or by Vinpearl. All info from Expedia shows that I was in a ground level room/villa of a facility that was only 1 level. So, so disappointed.
Vinpearl advertise there are two restaurants, true that but they are the same buffet at both just at different ends of the main building. Buffet dinner and breakfast whilst looking lavish was always cold and pretty bland.
Not enough shaded seating on beach or by pool and if you don't have a towel or book or something on a shaded seat by 6:00am, too bad you miss out even though the seats in the shaded areas might not be occupied until 11am or maybe only in the afternoon. My wife asked staff if she could relocate a lounge onto a grassy shaded area, the response after staff checking with "higher up" on radio was no but the staffer did give my wife one of the lounge mattresses to lie on in the same area instead. I hope this staffer doesn't get into trouble.
Staff were fantastic. Very helpful, happy and really tried to make it a good experience. Couldn't do enough for us.
No snacks like chocolates or crisps available. No where could I buy a chocolate bar. Could get popcorn at one of the bars but nothing else. Healthy choice????? they did sell cigarettes.
