We enjoyed our stay. The suite was big enough for our small family where everyone had their own space. What really makes this hotel worth it is the location. It can’t get any better. You can walk to anything you need.

This hotel needs a massive update. The rooms have stains on the carpets, curtains, bathrooms. The pillows are thin, the furniture is very dated and stained. The pool is small and cloudy, no pool towels. No hot water at night. No where in the hotel to get a drink or snack. The free breakfast lacked options. Great location and the staff was friendly, but the owners need to put some effort in to bringing the hotel up to date.

Checks most of the boxes, with a few minor issues.
We only had a few issues. -At check-in, our room wasn't ready and we had to wait in the lobby for over an hour until housekeeping finished. -The end time for breakfast was not readily apparent and we ended up missing it by about 10 minutes the first morning. -Power outlets were not very good. Bring a power bar with a decent length cord for flexibility. -If you need a fridge in the room, inquire. We didn't have one and that caused some minor issues. -The bathroom, at least in our room, was extremely uncomfortable. The toilet was tucked behind the door into a small alcove. Very little room to move and extremely difficult to use for anyone over "average" weight.

The breakfast is simple,there is nothing for people who didn't eat pork!Everything in the room is old,the bathroom same!The pool is to small to be a pool.

It was a five unite walk from Clifton Hill where all the action is and about a 15 minute walk to the falls. The rooms are old, but when things break down the staff is right on it for you. The buffet breakfast was good with a variety of bagels, muffins, cereals, scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and sausage and toast with fruit juices, milk coffee and tea. Never believed in ghosts but we for sure had one in our room who loved the hair brush. So I now am no longer a skeptic but a believer, ghost was kind not mean and communicated with us through movement and light switches which blew me away finally proof at age 64 that they do actually exist. Our stay was lovely , it’s old , but it’s close to everything and the staff were wonderful. Linda Nelson of Quesnel BC

The person who assisted us in the counter the night we arrived was not kind, he did everything possible to confuse and difficult our check-in. For everything else, the services during weekend and check out were very good.

Dirty carpets, ac not adequate, room dirty with filth evident in toilet, bags of dirty laundry left in hallway, outdated furniture and tv. Staff refused to let us check in when we arrived. as we were 20 minutes early - not because room wasn’t ready. Then had to wait in line as everyone came at 3. After seeing full toilet we gave back keys and left.

It was OK. The included parking and breakfast were a plus and the location was close to everything. However, the property needs major updates to be charging 276.33 US dollars a night (this was the total I paid with all the fees).
