This was such a disappointment for the prices they charged for just a room! No water bottles in the room, a mini fridge which was empty. Was expecting at least basic snacks and being charged extra, just like any other hotel. Should have informed that guests will have to travel all the way down to lower lobby for a glass of water. In-room dining was even worse, First they didn't have basic items in their menu options. Calling room-service, went to "Voicemail", yes a voicemail. And so, I left a voicemail with my room no., a call came back in the form of a "missed call"! not once, 3 times, a missed call. Every time I picked up on first ring, all I got was a dial tone -- no one on the other side. My biggest take away, never to Doubletree in Canada, a waste of money. Instead book a regular / cheap motel or Inn, at least expectations are managed for the money you pay. The only good grace about this property is the Spa -- great treatments. Book somewhere else and just book their spa. A complete waste of my weekend and bigger waste of my money.

The hotel was conveniently located to the attractions, everything was walkable. The property was fine. The front desk staff however was surprisingly unwelcoming and unhelpful. They didn’t let us include our Hilton number on check in because we booked through Expedia and throughout our stay was just cold and unpleasant to deal with when we had questions.
