We were very disappointed in the heat. It was so hot they had to bring us a fan that really didn’t help. For what we paid a night we should have had air. We paid to enjoy the view of the falls but really could not because with no air in the room the drapes had to stay shut. We paid for the breakfast buffet that was so disgusting the kids would not even eat. The food was cold. They did enjoy a donut. The hallway walking to our room was at least 90 degrees. Canada wants to become green but cooking your customers is not the way. I really feel there should be some compensation back we paid $400 a day and were miserable. The view of the Falls. The staff were wonderful, especially Suzanne in the breakfast buffet. She gave us wonderful information on the wineries in the area. Layla as a great housekeeper. The valet parking was a mess, all backed up. We all had to back up and out into the street.

Great trip. Only complaint is I wish the elevators ran a little quicker or there were more of them. Staff was superb and was very accommodating. If I come back I will definitely come back to this hotel. Best Hotel view of the Falls that you can get, IMO.

Absolute best place to stay for the Falls

This is beyond doubt the place to stay when going to see the Falls. Our large “picture window” looked out at a view of both the American and Canadian falls and adjacent areas. Many amenities and extra touches included. You will see rainbows some days. Both falls are given a nightly light show and there were fireworks both nights we stayed.

We were on the 22nd floor and had an incredible view of the falls. All the staff at the hotel were wonderful. The breakfast buffet is very good—especially the omelette station. The concierge desk was very helpful with choosing restaurants and activities based on needs/interests. My only complaint was the A/C. It was warm to hot almost everywhere in the hotel, all the time. I know Canada is experiencing unusually hot temperatures this year but the A/C system does not seem adequate for the size of the hotel. Apparently this is a known problem that they are working on. They were very apologetic. The other thing that would have been helpful to know in advance was the daily $45 self parking fee. Expedia should notate this when booking so that there aren’t unexpected/unwelcome surprises at check in. Otherwise our experience was wonderful. We’d definitely recommend this hotel.
