It's a decently maintained Marriott. Room was mostly clean however there was lots of dust in the ceiling vent in the bathroom, along with lots of scum build up in parts of the sink. Biggest issue is the parking. They should NOT be charging guests to park their own cars in the lot. It should be free/included with the price of the room.

We paid for a room with a big tub which did not work. The offered compensation was a free breakfast which, itself, was not far off of what you’d get for free at a La Quinta inn. Staff was not particularly interested in resolving the issue. I rarely write negative reviews but this one is appropriate. The bathroom itself could have done with renovating and a good scrub

Our room was cold even though we put temp up to 25. Hall on our floor was cold as well. There were a couple of times that there was no one on the desk. I had to call out a few times, then when checking out I had to go into back office. No one helped with our luggage when we arrived. We had to get cart and take to our room. Beds were comfortable which is always a plus. The bathroom floor is a little weird, possibly water damage and now is cushiony is one area. Upon checkout, I showed the front desk person what I found in the bed when I pulled sheets down. The comped our valet parking which was nice. Great location but the place needs updating.

The Marriott-on-the-Falls is a nice and clean hotel with a clear view over the Niagara Falls. The staff is nice and helpful. I guess that you have to ask for daily service though if you want your room fixed in the morning. They don't do this otherwise. The only issue we had was with the breakfast at the Milestone Restaurant (inside the hotel). Eggs or sausages, bacon and other items that were supposed to be served hot were close to cold. It wasn't worth the money,and I suggest for visitors to look into other options such as the IHOP that you'll find just accross the hotel (can't miss the sign). We used the Milestone Restaurant also for dinner, and there were no issues. Food and service was great. All-in-all though, we would stay at this hotel again at our next visit.
