Hotel was close to the Falls within walking distance, got a free room upgrade with a view of the Falls for my Birthday which was wonderful. Staff was great, hotel was clean, close location to all amenities. Free hot coffee was always available. I would definitely stay at the Oakes again.

The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The room was spacious, amazing and the view was stunning. We quickly checked out 1 of the multiple observation areas located on the 14th floor for a minute, they were also very nice although with our view we didn't need to stay up there. The only complaints were that the pillows were bit lumpy and the TV was very limited on channels. Having a mini fridge was so convenient but wished there was a coffee pot in the room too. Aside from the few minor complaints we truly did enjoy our stay there and would stay there again. Highly recommend.

Our room was excellent jacuzzi room river view 5 th floor we have very good view of falls and nightly fire works. We were there five days only had enough towels for one had to go every day to get some. Ran out of toilet paper had to wait to 530pm before we go more. No daily room service. Coffee only in main lobby but easy access and good quality. Would go back but would bring personal items like soap and shampoo etc.

Great view! The only thing is we had to walk down a flight of stairs to our room but this is only for specific rooms. We could have a normal walk in if we waited until the 4pm check in but were there early.

The Oakes called 20 minutes before check in and said they didn't have a room for my family. Disappointed since this was a prepaid reservation. They moved us to their related hotel, but it was 2 blocks further from the horseshoe falls. I was assured that the Hilton would honor our reservation of 2 twin beds. When we checked in at the Hilton they only had a room with a king and pull out sofa bed. The sofa bed was not very comfortable.

Room is okay. But there’s no microwave in the room. Also they don’t do housekeeping if you will stay for 2 nights? Found a chips inside the aircon upon check in and informed the receptionist but no action was taken due to they dont do housekeeping if you stay overnight or 2 nights.
