My booking at The Oaks was cancelled and relocated to the Hilton 2 days before arrival due to a plumbing issue at The Oaks. I was told over the phone that there would be no compensation because the Hilton is a 4 star hotel and Oaks is a 3 star hotel so that is a complimentary upgrade right there. However, when I got to my suit at the Hilton, the view was terrible despite purchasing a premium falls view room at the Oaks, the fridge and phone in the room was broken and didn’t work, and the pullout sofa bed mattress was as thin as a duvet cover and had a huge sunken hole in it. Nobody could sleep on that. I was very upset that I was basically downgraded from the suite I originally purchased for a higher price. If the relocation was due to The Oaks having plumbing issues, I should be upgraded or at least have a suite that is comparable, not downgraded. I called The Oaks to complain and they managed to have The Hilton give us a better room but this was after me taking time to call both hotels to explain my frustration. I feel this should have not happened in the first place. I was very disappointed with the whole experience.

It was a terrible experience. I booked a hotel and they give me a reservation when I go to check in they send me to another hotel , Hilton in Niagara Falls and Hilton Hotel had very limited services.
