Gorgeous views of winery

Beautiful scenery overlooking the winery. Our room was quite large and beautiful. Love the bubbly at check-in and the bikes. It was perfect.

I love that it was a boutique hotel and the room was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately rhe AC was leaking water and dripping inro the a bucket the 2 nights. The coffee maker had old coffee pods in it. We were not offered a different room.

STAFF was outstanding, Laura the intern could not have been more helpful, Jennifer, Joan and Joseph were wonderful. Having the Inn's fully loaded Lincoln Navigator for 6 of us to get to town and the bikes were handy too. Coffee downstairs every morning until restaurant opended very handy. Only thought was a small refrigerator would be nice.

this is not a $700 room. Pluses 1. Location. Walking distance to peller and two sisters and access to waterfront trail. 2. Grounds beautiful but they don’t really take advantage of that. 3. Staff was friendly and helpful. 4. Fire tables late for sitting with a glass of wine. Minuses - 1. cheap toiletries including make up removers, toilet paper and Kleenex. Not what you would expect at that price. I like a bubble bath at luxury resorts but if soap pinned to wall, no can do. 2. Beautiful grounds but no little seating areas dotted around property. Only real seating areas were in patio area where you felt compelled to make a purchase. 3. Chairs in our room were so far apart conversation was impossible. Nice chairs but we had to move furniture to sit together. 4. At that price it would have been nice to have tea or coffee and water available in lobby all day. They do coffee and tea in early morning but it was not tended to and lukewarm at best. 5. Incident with really drunk patron which manager (female) handled really well but highlighted no visible security. My husband and I felt compelled to watch carefully to make sure manager was ok. Next time we will forgo location for more reasonable price plus Uber to our favourite spots.

We will definitely stay again @ Riverbend as we were very impressed with the property and quality of the hotel. Having said that, the restaurant is not up to the quality that those staying at the hotel would expect. It was substandard food. We had dined at the restaurant in past years and at that time it was an impeccable dining experience. It no longer is. Hopefully adjustments are made such that the dining experience matches the excellent hotel experience.

Beautiful place. Nice attention to details. Welcome glass of wine, a complimentary tasting at the winery and a beautiful patio. A nice comfy bed, robe and slippers. Could not beat a morning bike ride through the vineyard, along the river and to the banks of Lake Ontario. Highly recommend!

Beautiful setting

A lovely hotel set in vinyards and fruit orchards. A nice welcoming on arrival and staff very helpful. Room very spacious with an excellent balcony overlooking the restaurant terrace. We used the hotel's bikes to go to the next hotel where had a wine tasting experience. We were told it was complimentary, but on checking out I had to pay a supplement and for the WiFi because I used a 3rd party to book the hotel! The aircon unit was quite noisey and there wasn't a fridge in the room, so the water that was left by the bed every day was very warm when we returned to our room after a day exploring. When mentioning this at check out they replied they had them in a barn ready to put in the rooms soon...come on guys we're nearly half way through the summer they should have been put in months ago, or even years ago. But hey I was told the tv's were brand new! Would we return, no but not as a bad thing just more hotels to try along the road into the little town.
