At over $400 US dollars a night, the Riverbend was hardly a great buy, especially since breakfast wasn’t included. The room was ok, but a far cry from one I’d rate as exceptional. I also was dismayed that our room was on the top floor and there was no elevator. Also, no bellman services were offered. We did like the complimentary wine tasting at their winery. Dinner at the restaurant was wonderful and beautifully presented.

If you are doing a wine visit this is the place to stay. 3-5 minute drive to old town or a 15-20 min walk. The grounds are amazing and this is a high end location.

Everything was great. We got to check in early. We were able to sign out a couple of bikes and take a leisurely ride along the river to "old town". Enjoyed an afternoon of walking around, shopping, etc. After dinner the staff started the fire pit, where we sat under the stars enjoying a drink and some company. Everyone was so accommodating and helpfut. Great overall experience.

The room was lovely. Decorated beautifully! Very comfortable. We loved the two chairs flanking the fireplace. We sat there and had our wine both evenings. All that was missing was a little drink table.

We were impressed from the moment we got to the hotel with the grounds and building. The beautiful rooms with a fireplace is so romantic. The dining room is lovely and we enjoyed some wine and cheese before checking in, we will definitely be back!
