Pretty much standard breakfast fare, but very adequate. Only things I noticed which need addressed: 1. Carpeting in room is worn nd looking shabby around doorways. 2. Large, tiled shower. However, floor was slippery and there was no rubber mat or grab bars. Any elderly person, of someone with balance issues could easily fall. 3. Shower pressure could be improved.

Friendly staff on reception. Secure free parking just across the street. Good breakfast. Only a short walk from Rainbow Bridge so great location. We found the room quite dark as the lighting was limited and there were no bedside tables which was a nuisance, but otherwise the stay was good.

A little disappointed...for the price, no view outside window, stained carpet, office chair that seen better days, dark room with low wattage lights, a/c blew air directly on bed. On the bright side, good breakfast, close to falls, very cheerful person in breakfast room. good parking. Sometimes I think this 3rd party reservation system gives ppl the less desired rooms.

It seemed there was a leak from the hot tub into the room below as I had staff knock on my room door about 20 mins after I emptied the hot tub / jacuzzi. I was asked if I had used the hand held shower head which is part of the jacuzzi unit which I hadn’t nor had I spilt any water on the floor other than a small amount that may have come off my body when drying off beyond the towel I had in the floor. I did not use the hot tub:jacuzzi on the second night for this reason as I was doubtful about the plumbing working correctly should I empty it after use.

Great place to stay

The hotel was very historical in feel, the staff was very generous pleasant and helpful. We had a minor issue upon arrival but they managed to resolve the situation with elegance and upgraded our room to a beautiful suite free of charge which was totally awesome. If we are ever back in the Niagara area we will definitely be staying there again. Also it is literally a 5 minute walk to the Niagara Falls state park and if you want to go to the casino it’s a short 5 min walk there also.

The hotel is quite dated and hasn’t been renovated in years. The rooms have a strong, unpleasant odor, likely from previous smoking, despite being non-smoking rooms. The carpets and curtains are old and stained. The only positive aspect is the great location, just a couple of minutes from Niagara Falls Park.

Property was nice but very aged. The rooms are considered “smart rooms” meaning if no motion is detected, then all electrical is shut off. So your phones etc will not fully charge during the night. Overall the stay was okay, rooms are aged and our carpet was stained and torn. Location is great though, close to Rainbow Bridge to crossover to Canada and close to casino if that’s your thing.
