PROS: The room was really great. It was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and even had a gift for us to celebrate our special occasion. They helped us with our luggage and gave us directions around town which was super helpful.
CONS: The bathroom! The bathroom was very spacious but the lighting was so dim! If you are trying to put on makeup or shave its almost impossible. The bathroom was huge but the sinks were so small and there is nowhere to put toiletries, etc. With such a huge bathroom they have space for bigger counters. Also there is only one electric outlet so you have to dry your hair right beside the toilet. (if you have long hair and have to flip it upside down to dry it, you are staring directly at the toilet!). Also the shower is huge but has no door so the water gets all over the floor. The controls for the hand held shower head and the rain spa are on the same temperature gauge but one was much hotter than the other. Also the shower shelves are in the middle of the shower instead of above the taps so we knocked our arms and elbows on these sharp metal shelves numerous times. And finally, there were no recycling bins in the room.
The breakfast was subpar to what we have experienced at other French hotels. The selection wasnt very good and when we asked the staff about vegan options they had no idea. Some items were already plated rather than presented on a buffet tray which was strange. The coffee maker was also broken.
