Exceptional hotel with outstanding service
I love this hotel. I always stay here when in Nice. It is quietly luxurious and understated and with spectacular views from the sea view rooms. But most of all, the whole staff are exceptional. They are not only professional but also kind, caring and thoughtful.

We'd actually stayed there 26 years ago!! Loved the location both times...end of boardwalk / edge of " old town". No car needed, fab dinner first night in there Patio restaurant. Pool a lovely place to read in sun at end of busy days! Yes it was still open late October as temp in high 70's. Lovely staff !

Fabulous hotel but they did not appear to know we were coming SADLY They did not read the notes they sent for a lovely trip so I had upgraded the room once for twin beds -these were at the price on Expedia!......then my sister upgraded again to a sea view and it was just Fantastic as were All the staff.

Hôtel La Pérouse is unbelievably charming. It is close to everything, including the market, which is the epicentre of old Nice. The property is very clean and exceptionally well appointed, and the entire staff is attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a spectacular view of the Mediterranean from our “Superior room”. The pool area is exceptionally clean and so is the pool. We swam at the end of every day before dinner. This was idyllic

We stayed here for 8 days and every single day was perfect, in so small part thanks to Leo! He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and helped us with reservations, recommendations and helping us get around! The hotel itself is beautiful and not at all confusing (as others have said). On our first day we were given a detailed tour and it was actually pretty easy to find our way around this unique and beautiful hotel. Location is ideal, super close to the amazing Castel beach club, restaurants and shopping! Honestly every thing was perfect and we can’t wait to come back!

The best thing about the hotel was the terrace and view from the room. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fairly standard, the food was good but what you would expect from a breakfast buffet. Check in was stressful as I had been delayed in arriving at the hotel and due to the complex layout the employee at the desk insisted I waited for the valet. I had to wait 15 minutes for him to come and was late for a dinner reservation as a result. The valet, who I didn’t ask for, then stood in my hotel doorway expecting a tip which I didn’t have at that moment as I’d just arrived and didn’t have cash. He walked away swearing (he must have assumed I didn’t speak French) because I didn’t give him a tip. I will say the valet the next day was different and went over and above to help, and the member of staff who managed my check out was very helpful and this made the experience much better.
