Pros: GREAT Buffet Breakfast with ample selection. Views of the beach were amazing.
Cons: Bedroom door lock not functioning and not fixed despite asking. bedroom floor had a large missing tile which makes the tile area around the crack sharp and dangerous. Large stain in the sink, TV couldn’t connect so I couldn’t use it after a long day of walking, AC was subpar. I couldn’t even open the patio door because there is no screen to prevent bugs and birds from entering. The patio was dirty and barely any space to sit to enjoy the view.
I did like the front staff and they did what they can. I think the issues I have should be addressed by management and the hotel owners themselves as they are the ones who could create positive change.
This hotel is more like a 3 star hotel that wants to be 4, or dare I say even 5? I would expect it to be reaching for a 5 given the location and the beautiful exterior facade of the hotel building. Unfortunately, it was really lacking.
In total, it was an OK hotel that was way over priced given all the inconveniences of the room. I’ve been to much nicer hotels all over France and Europe and paid less. I’m definite that I’m paying for the beautiful view and proximity to the beach.
I’m glad I only stayed for two nights because I don’t think it would’ve been tolerable for more days.
I’ll only consider staying here again during my next visit if the management really takes the critiques to heart and makes the effort to improve on it.
