First time visit
If you love outdoor, the hotel is walking distance to the promenade. We use the hotel only to rest as most of the time we are out. Do not expect a very high end accommodation with amenities. The hotel offers the proximity to anywhere you want to go around the city centre. I gave A+ to Yashid in the reception for having a customer service attitude that is splendid.

My husband and I stayed here at the end of July. It was incredibly hot but thankful that L’Alcove had air conditioning. They are just a block or two from the Nice esplanade and beach. We loved that the staff were always helpful, and always greeted us with smiles. One of them even granted my request for ice in my water bottle since ice is hard to come by in Europe. We enjoyed our stay. It is very walkable to restaurants and cafes. The room is tiny mind you but it does the job and most of the time we were walking and exploring Nice anyway. We definitely would stay again!

The hotel is nice, the staff is pleasant, and the rooms are spotless and conveniently located near the beach. My only issue is that the breakfast isn't very excellent. Additionally, I would advise bringing your own towel because the hotel doesn’t allow you to use their towels for the beach

Let's be clear, the room was so expensive and not worth it. The room was tiny, but the location, OMG, it's right in front of the Les Invalides. No too clean, the old man working at night not nice, but the rest of them, awesome :)

This hotel is close to tram station (Alsacia&Lorraine) so It is easy to get from the Airport. It is just 3 block away from the beach. You can take a run in the morning at the long promenade. It have a small restaurant that I didn't use since there are plenty restaurants around the Hotel. Room and bathroom clean. Room service every day. Staff very friendly.

Loved this property. It’s charming and comfortable and has great customer service, nice breakfast and wonderful staff. Rooms are pretty small and shower is small, but water pressure was great. Walking distance to waterfront and restaurants.
