The refrigerator in our $250 cabana rental did not work and drinks were hot. My chair rental was given away even though I had a 10:30 reservation. Requests of staff were consistently responded with that’s my coworkers responsibility. Very poor communication throughout and a 2nd floor rom overlooking a covered walkway was all this Bonvoys member received even with months of advance planning. Big push on fragrance and massage treatments which was uncomfortable. Will not recommend to others

Rooms are terrible.
The people of Aruba and the Marriott are wonderful! They are overly nice and make you feel welcome. The main downfall of this resort is the rooms. One word horrible. They all have a system where you have to make reservations for the beach chairs on the beach which I understand but do not like. They need a better pickleball reserve court system. Went to play pickleball and the courts were reserved by someone else for two hours and did not show up. There was also an incident I had in the gym where I went to get rackets and a towel and the woman in the gym chased me down to tell me I had to bring the towel back? Why wouldn't I? I have to return the racquet no? Overall I would come back to Aruba but not so the Marriott until they have renovated their rooms. It's completely beat down.

The music by the pool was horrible. One minute mc hammer can’t touch this, shop by salt n pepper and literally the next was old time rock and roll song blasting. Adult pool had no music whatsoever. Staff was great and rooms were clean. Could use some updating outdoors. Great location, safe and good food. The ocean had really cool trampoline looking flotations that were amazing to lay on.

I give this hotel an A rating as it was fantastic. Gorgeous property, very clean, courteous and friendly staff who honestly could not do enough for their guests. My wife and I cannot wait to go back. Excellent hotel amenities and very clean beach!

The beach was beautiful, Room was very nice except that there was no door to separate tub/toilet area from sink and closet. The adult only pool was closed for the duration of our trip which was quite disappointing for our first adult only trip in over 15 years! Beach chair reservation app was only accessible 2 hrs a night. Very nice but overpriced for the experience.

Very beautiful Hotel. Staff was amazing and very friendly. Our choice was between the Marrirot and Rits Carlton which both are great hotels right next door in walking distance. We did not need a rental we used taxi which are always on stand by outside the hotel or wherever you go. We loved the beach and pool both was very peaceful and quiet live DJ at pool daily. The guest are at the pools very early so if you would like a good shady area prepare to get out early. Make sure to take a taxi to Palm Beach area which is only 5min away for resurants, souviners, bars/clubs. Also sign up for the free 90 minute Marrirot Vacation Club Presentation, you will receive a FREE $250 voucher (whether you buy or not) you can use anywhere at the Marriot. :) We used ours at Ruth's & Chris Steakhouse. Also if you are a club/bar goer (outside the hotel) do not purchase their alcohol go to the liquor store and buy your own.The shots we purchase were not real patron shots even though it taste just the same its not which we found out the next day from another bar employee. Have fun and Enjoy.
