Owner pulled bait and switch on me and 2 other parties. IE when I got there he said Hotels.com reservation had been cancelled. However, he still had rooms but of course at higher much higher price. Two other parties I spoke with who were attending same event had same issue.

Pour the money the place was decent. If you consider oatmeal or waffle, a hot breakfast then their advertising having hot breakfast would be correct. Not typically what I would consider a hot breakfast.

Refurbished and clean. Still a few odd things, no plug in tub. Staff had to be called to check in. Didn’t have snow shoveled near outdoor entrance but were responsive when I pointed it out. Could be more customer service oriented. Said I should go make sure the exterior door was unlocked for unloading close to room when they could just as easily walked down down and done it as they had no other customers. Staff was polite though. Ok for the price point.

Staff was nice. Room was ok. There’s no pool or hot tub which is stated on this app so that was disappointing. I wouldn’t have chose this hotel knowing that. Hot water took a long time to kick in so had a cold shower for part of the time.

This is not a fancy hotel. However, it was very clean, well kept and the staff was friendly to us. We requested an early check-in so we could prepare for a 3:00 wedding. They were very nice about making that change for us. We would gladly stay there again.

The person who was in charge and checked me into the room was amazing. He made sure we knew the rules and asked if we needed anything. The hotel was clean and quiet. One of the better stays in norfolk for sure.
