Our first time at a Moxy, and I am a fan for life! Every staff person was friendly and accommodating- to us and our two large dogs! The atmosphere was contagious, making other guests friendlier too! The VaB location could not be more convenient! We will be back!

Not what we were expecting, room was super small and offered no amenities. No Frig, Microwave, Coffee Pot or even a Table. Some people might be fine with it, but when they say the are minimalistic, they aren’t kidding.

I recommend staying here its a really quite area and right by the beach they only have valet parking but its pretty cheap. Great place overall.

I was skeptical about staying here, but really enjoyed it - sort of "funky!" The room was quiet, but the heating system made a slight noise through the night.

The location is perfect. The hotel is outstanding so modern so cool quite different really really nice way walking in I was like what this is just like really different and I like that. My room had the best view ever and I had a good time. Stuff was amazing. Nice hotel.

Literally no furniture….
Hotel is new, condition is nice. We knew about no furniture but figured no problem. But combined with no fridge, microwave, or coffee maker, and the very weird bed setup…the few dollars we saved booking here wasn’t worth it. When you’re at the beach, you often get leftovers from restaurants but that’s not an option in this setup since you can’t keep them cool or reheat. So whatever we don’t eat ended up being trashed, waste of money when eating out is so expensive. Sleeping arrangement is odd, we faced the kids. With no chairs, to watch tv is everyone staring at each other on beds. Our dog had a nice stay. There is plenty of green space for him. I would recommend that you think about it all and decide if this is the kind of stay for you.

Very cute hotel, recently renovated so everything is fresh and new. Comfy beds, nice bathroom, great view. The rooms were a little odd in that there was almost no furniture... a sort of shelf-like "table" that folds down from the wall and one folding chair. Given that the rooms are quite small, this makes sense - just know that there's not really a table you can sit at. No coffee in the room. Overall, very nice but the room being quite small and the very basic furnishings took a star off for me.
