Fraudulent listing and a dirty/broken room.

Our door was heavy and constantly slammed if we let go of it. If it didnt slam it was nearly impossible to close. The privacy lock on the door was broken and hanging mostly off to the point it probably wouldnt stop the door from being opened. The air vents were caked in dust. The floor had a couple weird smears of thick liquid when we arrived. Also, hotels.com ripped us off. They posted the same room twice. One post was less expensive, the other post had pictures of a kitchen with a full fridge and stated in the description that the room was about 100 sq ft bigger. We purchased the more expensive listing not knowing it was the same room. We discussed the incorrect room with the hotel who told us hotels.com incorrectly included pictures of their premium suite. They told me that this happens all the time and my only option was to contact hotels.com. after 2 hours of talking to hotels.com they refused to refund me the price difference. Instead they offered me a $100 credit towards a future stay. Like im ever going to use them again. So to be clear, dirty hotel. Blatently incorrect/fraudulant listing on hotels.com, and neither one is willing to work with you to correct their screw up. Wasted hours of my vacation and still ended up paying hundreds of dollars more than our friends who stayed in the same hotel and in the same exact type of room which they also booked from hotels.com.

Our room the bed had a hole on the right side. When I asked if I could get it changed I was told I will see what I can do. And nothing was done. The bathroom I saw a roach in there. The sheets on the bed were stained with something yellow. On the site it says you provide cribs if asked and when I asked I was given a playpen because that’s all you had. The bathroom looked old and so did the room. The one thing I did like was the girl who checked me out she was so nice.
