Our stay at the hotel was overall enjoyable. We loved the clean rooms, the delicious food, and the friendly staff. However, we did encounter an issue with our reservation. We had booked a room with a king-sized bed, a balcony, and an ocean view, but ended up with a room that had two small beds, no balcony, and no view at all. When we brought this up to the front desk, we were told to either accept the room or find alternative accommodations outside. Aside from this mix-up with the reservation, everything else was great.

The room was ok, but the overall condition of the property was poor. The common areas were dirty, and the trash can just outside the lobby was overflowing. Perhaps my expectations were too high for a room rate of $200 per night, plus $30 per day for self parking and an additional $20 per day for a single lounge chair on a subpar beach that is convenient to absolutely nothing. Definitely wouldn’t return!

Overall the hotel are okay but after we went to our room and first thing we checked the bed and we found blood stains on the sheets. We told them what we found and they are not shocked or apologized us they come and change the sheets. Other thing the restaurant doesn’t have kids foods and very expensive. Front desk reception name Jamie Cruze are very helpful. Keep up the good work Jamie!!!

Standard of this hotel is definitely not the same. Had to change room due to dirty sheets and surfaces. New room wasn't much better. Heard a pressure sound in bathroom all day and night thru the walls whether bathroom was in use or not. Table and nightstand were both visible dusty and dirty to the point we had to go and buy cleaner ourselves. Coffee maker was disgusting never cleaned. Got frustrated going to front desk so we just dealt with it and stayed in the room only if we had to. Coffee shop was out of many items on the day we actually decided to get something. Only enjoyable part was the Tides restaurant. The food was delicious both times we went.

It's a good location and the beach is great. The rooms are clean, though there was a strange smell upon initially walking into the room. The staff didn't seem well trained in hospitality or look for ways to do much more than the minimum. The phone line to reach the front desk was always busy so I had to call the main phone number to request things (like a later checkout). When I did reach someone, they used language like "fine, let me check" or "all I can do is 12pm" and the tone was bored, detached, and cold. It seems like a management issue because all the staff seemed to share a similar flat-line attitude. Reading a few books like "Unreasonable Hospitality" by Will Guidara or "Excellence Wins" by Horst Schulze, would go miles to improving the guest experience. Overall, it wasn't a bad stay and we enjoyed our time but the customer service didn't standout beyond what you'd get at a Motel 6.
