The bed was very uncomfortable. parking garage is totally outdated. if your driving a suv it will not go in the garage. air conditioning unit in middle of unit makes a very loud sound. we had to turn it off. location is great, in center of boardwalk.

Ocean Sands is my favorite place to relax and enjoy family time. The room was spotless, spacious and quiet. We sat on the balcony and enjoyed the dolphins playing in the ocean. The Neptune Festival was amazing with SEVERAL vendors with excellent deals. All of the staff were pleasant and very helpful. See you at Thanksgiving!

Ocean Sands is centrally located to almost everything since it's on 22nd Street. I have stayed in this resort many times in the past and was pleased. However, the rooms have now been renovated since I was last there and the room was very inefficient... In the bathroom, there is no counter space to place a makeup/cosmetic bag or man's shaving kit bag. There are no longer any cabinets underneath the sink to place anything. There are wall light fixtures in the sitting room that are on the wall on either side of the TV at the ceiling level. Those are the only light fixtures that have USB ports, very inefficient, no where to charge phones, iPads, etc. unless you bring your own USB ports. No end tables on either side of the one sofa in the room. Place your drinks, phones, E-readers, etc. on the floor.

Why are there so few plugs in 2025? I had to pull out furniture to have my phone (also my alarm) charge in the bedroom. The WiFi was super shaky (off and on the whole time). Front desk didn’t answer when I called. Staff wasn’t terribly friendly. I thought the place was fairly clean, until I moved furniture looking for a plug.

Great views. Great location for our needs. The pool, hot tub and sauna were very nice. Would def stay here again. The pillows did suck. We ended up buying a set. So bring your own pillow.

It was raining, the seal around window was leaking onto the ac outlet right nex to my bed and after complaint, they put a towel down, also bathroom floor had hair all over and had to get them to mop it

The location right on the Ocean was Great, but the carpet was very dirty, there was a stain on the couch, there were little nets in the room(most likely the drains), the gym had a spray bottle and rags to wipe down the equipment before and after use.

Needs work,but good location.

The hotel is very dated. Our room was not very clean. We also had issues with the balcony door lock and the toilet wasnt working properly. Bathroom sink was slow. There was no soap in the shower either. We notified the front desk. Soap was fixed. They said they fixed the toilet, but it still wasnt working. Told us the lock for the balcony was just the latch..even though there are directions on the door. Location is good. Beach access is also good.

We have stayed at other hotels on different beaches, most people say it’s outdated but compared to others I would say it’s about the same. The room was clean the bed was comfortable and the location was next to where they do free concerts. There was street preformers, a small grocery store across the street and the staff was very friendly. Not a 5 star but we didn’t expect it to be. Staying there again I would say absolutely.

There was trash next to the trashcan in the bathroom on arrival. The bathroom didn't scream clean, the hotel in general felt more Super 8 then beach resort. Did see a cockroach in the hall as we were going to the elevator to get to our car after checking out. Staff were decent, they did try to push some time share meeting junk on us, which is weird. Also they seem to have some weird obsession with mirrors, there was an almost full wall mirror in the main room and the bathroom had 3 different mirrors in it. One was above the toilet, waist height to ceiling. Also lighting in the room was mid. There was 2 light switches that did apperently nothing. Lastly the power outlet placement in the bedroom was terrible, on one side of the bed you had to move the nightstand to plug in a charger cause the outlet was near the floor. Even Super 8 can afford plugs on top of the nightstands. I shouldn't have to bring my own power strip to put my phone on the nightstand. Not worth the price at all,

The location was great, but the condition of the property and the room was not good at all; the tub wasn't cleaned properly, the window curtains were dirty; Jacuzzi and sauna wasn't working and the amenities sucks. It definitely wasn't what I expected

Nice hotel and a really good location. Flew in and Uber'd to the accomodation and was really happy with how walkable everything was. Staff are very friendly and helpful. My one complaint would be the elevator - above the 6th floor you use the far away elevator and its also used by staff for their errands/jobs so at times you can wait an exceptionally long time to get down from the higher floors. Its a minor inconvenience though and barely a blot on a lovely stay away. Would visit the area again.

The room is not updated. Took some pictures of issues with the room immediately and went to the front desk with them. Toilet paper roll holder was missing, dented refrigerator. Found that the jets on the tub did not work, and the room wasn’t very clean. View was great.
