The Parking lot and surrounding area was very clean and convenient to check in. When you walk into the lobby area, it was so clean with a nice pleasant scent. The front desk staff attendant was very nice and kept a smile. The room was very clean and comfortable!

This hotel is exceptionally average. Our non smoking room stank of cigarettes. It’s exactly what I expected it to be for the price. Not the end of the world for a night or two.

The deal clerk was very friendly and professional. Initial appearance of the hotel was okay. Three men sitting outside were smoking and I was not sure if they were guests or not based on their appearance. The room was clean. When we first used the toilet when it refilled it made a terrible noise. I reported to the clerk and she said maintenance would fix it in the morning. It was fixed. The woman maintaining the breakfast bar was so sweet and kept it fully stocked and very clean. Our main complaint and reason for a score of Poor is the way the night clerk handled our noisy next door guests the second night. We put up with them till about 2:30, thinking they would settle down. I went and asked the clerk to ask them to talk more quietly. Half an hour later I went down and said they were still noisy. I went with him, he stood at the door for 5 seconds and said "I don't hear anything" and went back to the front desk. I said stay longer and listen. He offered to move us to another room. Now it was around 3:30, I said no thank you, we did not feel like moving rooms in the middle of the night. A short time later I knocked on their door and kindly reuqested they speak more quietly. By 4-4:15 they stopped. We had to get up at 6am for our all day outdoor event. We hardly got any sleep. When I requested a refund for the night I was told $50 off was the best they could do. When went to leave, the main entry doors wouldn't open due to a blown circuit breaker.

The hotel was surprisingly clean, quiet. I was visiting from Mass. The breakfast was actually good. Ms Hatti was VERY nice, and very helpful. I really enjoyed speaking with her. The front staff was very friendly. Only downside was the sheets in the rm were never changed. I don't stay in hotels often, so this may be the norm, just kind of took me aback. Over all I enjoyed my stay and Will state there again should I find myself in virginia

Room was clean and comfy. Toilet was stained but basically clean. I liked the shampoo and conditioner provided. I would have liked it if some USB ports were provided. Toilet didn’t flush well for stools. Had to use a plunger.

This place is a hidden gem! It isnt too much more for this clean comfortable room with all the extras, as it is for the ones without. There are 3 pools (even 1indoor in case it rained, our trip wasnt ruined - 1with a slide - 1on the beachfront that serves food/drinks plays music) The rooms were clean and comfy

We had a terrible experience at the comfort in at Portsmouth, Virginia. Our first night was fine, the second night someone stayed in the room next door and was on the phone from 9:00pm to 2:00am yelling and cursing. We finally called downstairs. Not sure if they spoke to him or not. Started again from 6:oo am to 8:00am when he finally left. We got no sleep and it was very disturbing to hear him.

We always enjoy staying there but our room this time was really showing some wear. The mat inside of the tub was very dirty and peeling, and the hair dryer dropped out of the wall when in use. We checked in and out with ease, the beds are not bad, and the breakfast has enough variety to save having to eat a meal out. I will continue staying with there.
