I booked this trip so I could propose to my girlfriend on the Uss Wisconsin. I was unaware that the King Neptune festival was going on when I booked. I loved the fact that it was on the quiet end of the boardwalk. The only downfall to this place, and don't let my opinion deter anyone but I'm a smoker and you can't smoke on your balcony, not a problem however if you smoke in the smoking area and you develop conversations with fellow smokers there is not a restroom on the main level so the elevator got a workout. Outside of that if you are not a smoker it's not a bad place. The staff there was very helpful if a issue came up, I needed towels and coffee. And I had a few items taken from me at the airport but they had backups to get me through to the following day. I would have no issue rebooking at this hotel if I get back to the area.

surprisingly nice hotel for the price. clean rooms. great location. we stayed in the off season so it was quiet and not crowded. staff was very friendly. the double beds are small for 2 adults who are used to larger beds, but they do the job and we didnt find any weird mystery stains or signs of bugs. the balcony side provides a great ocean view and you can easily see the surf classes off to the right.

My Room was very clean and made up every day. I had a room with 2 Queen beds and enjoyed waking up to a view to the beach through floor to ceiling windows. Sitting on the balcony was comfortable. Kitchenette and Bathroom were simple, clean and had everything you need. My microwave and coffee maker worked perfectly. The water pressure was surprisingly strong. Not bad for being on the 5th floor. Staff always friendly.

Don't Go There

The TV was small. That didn't matter because it didn't work. The box spring was older than I am (I am 69). The bathroom was smaller than the inside of my car. The staff was great...I felt sorry for them for working there. The door is old...lots of trouble opening it. Do yourself a favor....do not stay there.
