Loved The Bay. It’s across the street from the beach in a cute residential area with restaurants wihin walking distance. The folks running it are super friendly and we enjoyed meeting their dog. Although It’s an older motel, It’s completely renovated and well cared for. The bed was comfy and the room had a microwave and refrigerator with a small freezer. We plan to return next year for the same event.

The Bay Inn was just what I expected, very clean and comfortable, with the amenities I needed, such as a microwave and fridge. It was very clean and the little courtyard is charming. My only wish is for window shades that open from the top instead of side to side, so that I could have enjoyed the courtyard more easily from my room without having my curtains wide open. But I will definitely stay there again when I am visiting my family nearby.

Gem near the water
The room was clean and bed was comfortable. There is a small courtyard area with some chairs that looked inviting. Checking/checkout was simple. I appreciated the step-back-in-time Motor Hotel feel to the property and would recommend it.

Nice one-night stay
The host was excellent and friendly, the location was fantastic - one block from the bay shoreline, so a beach run was easy. The shared central outdoor area looked cozy and the small vegetable garden added a nice touch.

Loved my stay! Will definitely return. Quite, no bugs, no odd smells. I Go to Norfolk 2X per year for one week each. First place with daily housekeeping service in 4 years. Beautiful renovations to the room. The small details like a hand soap dispenser and ice tray made it cozy. Best shower water pressure ever.
