Friendly staff and I’d like to give a big shout out to my front desk ladies! If I had an issue, they were on it! The parking lot and the area around it are a little sketchy but it’s a very nice location for an easy walk to Ghent or the heart of downtown! Renè was also an excellent bartender. I didn’t try their food because there’s so much good food to go out to so close!

Avoid this hotel at all costs
My stay was terrible, nothing was stated about the $15/day for parking and upon my first night I noticed a cockroach in my room. They switched my room and the room they put me in had a strong smell of mildew. I strongly advise people to stay elsewhere

You get what you pay for I guess
Heat barely worked, TV stopped working in the middle of the night, the shower set off the smoke detector for some reason. Water pressure was horrible as well. Entrance to the hotel was a confusing mess. The doors close so loudly they sound like gunshots, the walls are also paper thin, so my husband was kept up all night. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly, thats about all we enjoyed other than the location

Everything was fine, bed was very comfy. . Didn't like the red decour in the public areas on the 12th floor. Check-in lady Merian was nice.

Property needs a lot of maintenance and updates - mattress was hard, thermostat/HVAC in the room was wonky, the refrigerator made loud whining noises when the cooler kicked on, and the shower water was hot one morning and barely lukewarm the next. Walls and doors are thin / have no sound proofing, and we were given a room with a connecting door and could easily hear our neighbors conversations and television. Only one out four elevators for this many-storied building was working, and it made alarming sounds! The staff was polite and friendly, and the room was relatively clean, but otherwise, not at all what we would have expected for the Wyndham name or the rates we paid. Will look elsewhere if we need a hotel in the vicinity again in the future.

Convenient location
I stayed at this hotel while visiting my son at ODU. It was clean, comfortable, and about 15 minutes away from campus. I enjoyed being near the Chrysler Museum and some downtown restaurants.
