Room was clean, pet friendly, easy check in/check out. Room was VERY spacious. Only thing I’d say is we were told we could park in front of the door but someone else there instead as the spots are not marked. Would be helpful if the spots are reserved, to have them marked off for each room.

We stay at the Golden Gables Inn every year for a weekend to do our school shopping. We're from Maine and enjoy the quiet of this inn, the pool for the kids and how easy it is to get to the stores we like to go to. Some things could use an update, and there were no lights around the pool so we couldnt see even though the pool was still open. But its a safe area with lots to do. The Starbucks down the street is terribly slow and dirty. Definitely try Dunkin if youre looking for coffee!

NIce motel, does not have an elevator so you may have to carry luggage up a flight of stairs if you are assigned to a second floor unit. Our unit was clean when we arrived. Maid service to empty garbage and change towels seemed to be twice / week. Our screen door to the outdoor patio was broken and the front desk did not respond when we asked for it to be looked at. Front desk was very responsive and friendly regarding requests for paper products and towels. Overall a nice motel.

Fabulous place, price was on the cheaper side so wasn't expecting greatness...but it was great - big room, balcony with chairs, sofa, coffee table, fridge, microwave and 2 deliciously comfortable beds. Place is bogger than what it looks from the road. Will book here next time

Girls birthday trip

Overall had a great time and would recommend. Originally was put in a much smaller room than described/ pictured on hotels.com. Asked front desk, and thankfully they let us upgrade for only $12 a night. The upgraded room was much bigger and nicer. The pool was nice but unfortunately the hot tub was broken which was disappointing and one of the main reasons for picking this hotel. The girl at the front desk was super nice! Plenty of parking and awesome location minutes from the outlets and restaurants.

Can't wait to come back!

Golden Gable was a lovely little resort that perfectly met my needs for a last minute trip to the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire. Room was small, but clean and comfortable, with a private deck. Furniture on the deck should be replaced - table was broken, and cheap plastic chairs were disappointing. Enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard patio area. Pool looked nice for families with children. I would definitely recommend Golden Gable. Very reasonably priced.

This was an okay accommodation. It was not worth the high price we paid. It is a classical travel inn - park in front of the door that opens from the parking lot into the room. Since parked in front of the room, it is easy to unpack. Pros: nice staff; refrigerator in room: nice selection of towels; clean bathroom; Cons: we could not connect to the wifi at all; dated look; had to walk around the building to get to main office for coffee/tea; the door was difficult to unlock (with an actual key); we could hear toilet flushing in neighboring unit; front office closes at 9 pm

Quick stop going to the nh parks

We were running really behind on travel and called ahead. Front desk checked us in over the phone and had our keys in an envelope at the lobby (they close at 9pm) the rooms where extremely clean and the beds where comfortable. We were very happy to see the rooms was fitted with a mini split for cooling instead of those loud outdated units below the window. Overall I would highly recommend. Also has a playground area for kids

Very clean, comfortable bed, friendly staff. Coffee available at office but no breakfast offered. Morning search and wait at breakfast restaurants is long. No Mountain View’s and on a busy street.

The Golden Gables Inn appears to be an older Inn that has been renovated and the room which we were had what looked like all new furniture and the bathroom which was sort of small but again completely renovated. The price was competitive considering that it was peak summer travel period when we stayed. The only thing missing was a breakfast...
