This was one of my favorite stops on a long roadtrip. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was more like an apartment.It was spacious, extremely clean and one of the most comfortable beds ever. It was quiet and peaceful and warm and cosy. My favorite thing about cottage 17 was that the porch was built around a large tree. Would definitely stay again.

A gem on the top of PEI!
Dwight has a gem of a motel. Extremely clean with all the necessary amenities. Plenty of space inside plus a nice deck. Very close to beautiful parks and drives.

Simple cottages and multi room motel units. Nice to have access to a simple kitchen. Easy walk to "town", about 3-5 minutes along the road but no sidewalks. However, you may get lucky and see the cows :) Friendly owner who gave tips about where to eat and what to do with our dog. Units could use a little love but still totally functional.

Great little cabin.
We stayed with our 2 dogs in the open concept king room (#17). They are designed like little rustic cabins, with a mini kitchenette and a full bathroom! The rooms themselves looked modern and more up to date than some of the older pictures on here. This is definitely a smaller business/operation and you can tell they do some of the DIY themselves but that’s okay! It adds charm and that’s part of the enjoyment of staying at smaller places and not chains. The room had good solid wifi, good air conditioning and heating, the bed was comfy the shower worked great, good pressure. They had cable tv and a smart tv with streaming apps! There was an almost full sized fridge which was great! Normally you just get teeny tiny little mini fridges. We did have an incident where one of our dogs got a hold of the blanket on the bed and started to chew it. We went straight to the front desk and they were so nice and charged a very reasonable rate to replace the blanket they didn’t try to gouge us, and they were super understanding and clearly animal people so it was just a great experience over all! They also recommended great places to eat when we checked in! The bed was comfy! We always bring our own pillows while travelling. But they did have 2 different kinds available. So that’s nice! Overall very quiet area and lots of privacy. Very happy with our stay!

I was looking for a quiet spot to stay on a short getaway, and this cottage fit the bill perfectly. It was very quiet, despite all of the rooms and cottages appearing to be occupied. There is a strong family/community vibe here that really added to my relaxing vacation. It is a short drive to restaraunts, beaches, shops and attractions, including the Cavendish Beach tourist area. The cottage was clean and cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I wish I could've stayed longer!

The room itself was clean and acceptable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. But the property was very overgrown and cluttered with vehicles and campers with knee high grass growing around them. It was not a very good first impression. With some cleaning up and weed eating, it would be a much nicer place.

Basic rustic cabin overlooking the water which was very nice.Good location for restaurants- Blue Mussel cafe a great place for dinner. Two negatives- very old rusty microwave and the lighting very poor… definitely needed stronger light globes
