You have to pay an extra $20 for parking a night. I checked in on a Saturday about 7pm. (Last minute trip) After a 3 hour drive. We were told there was no parking, but still continued to book rooms. So we had to park about 3 blocks away, in a unattended parking area. If I could have canceled my rooms right there, I would have. I used to stay here every time I come to Wildwood. 3 times in about a month mind you. I won't be coming back here again

We get there and they tell us they don’t have enough parking spots for their guests which would have been nice to be notified of that when going through the booking process. So we ended up parking the car at street parking paying $5.50 an hour for the duration of our stay. Expenses that shouldn’t even be worried about when you book a hotel. Then the front desk employee gives us a small room on the side of the building and I told him we definitely went with a bigger room and he told me this is what you got. Then when we got to the room we noticed the bed was a queen, not the king we booked. We went back to the front desk and I showed him my booking and he apologized and gave us probably the worst king bedroom they got. For starters, the bathroom didn’t even have a real door, it was a sliding fitting room door with a big ol gap to say hello to anyone on the toilet. And the toilet, you don’t even have space for your knees because it’s directly pointed to the glass shower door. Then when I went to use the shower I realized the shower wasn’t even cleaned. There was still dirt, sand and hair on the ground and some dried up gunk in the corners. Like in all honestly, my wife and I had a great time on the boardwalk and beach but we didn’t really use the hotel for basic needs like showering. We were so grossed out we checked out early the next day. If I can give less the a one star I would.

WARNING for families…when you book and pay for a room at this hotel, a parking space is not included. We were put on a waitlist for parking despite booking 4 months in advance, and were told when a spot did become available we would also have to pay for that convenience. So, carve out another $150 for parking at 23rd and the beach because of this. I was confused about this money grab, because this is not a new construction. I stayed here in the 80s when it was the Kings Inn. I ended up having to park by the bay and check in took over 2 hours, after driving 2 hours with our three kids. I thought booking on the boardwalk would make our lives easier and it was a nightmare on Memorial Day weekend. WARNING for families…also at check in, we were told that a security deposit was going to be put on our card as a hold for a few hundred. Had this happen to me in Vegas, NYC, etc. Never in WW as an old hag married couple. Second sticker shock at this place. Despite the name, there are no chairs outside the rooms so that one could sit and view the ocean. I gave one star because: I was given an extra hour at check out because I had to walk a mile to get my car. Rooms were updated by WW standards, no dressers though. Dog friendly and not just for chihuahuas and those toy doodles. We were neighbors with a standard Poodle and a St. Bernard, which was awesome.

Still has a way to go

The hotel looks like it's just been redone but it still has a lot to do. For starters, there was literally one plug in the bedroom to plug in phones and accessories. There was no holder for the toilet paper in the bathroom. With Wildwood, you're going to get thin walls, but we were able to hear our neighbors partying until 3:00 a.m. both nights. Made for a tough night sleep.

Everything is new. On boardwalk. Nice patio overlooking the boardwalk with comfortable padded furniture. Nice pool. Everyone seems pleasant and willing to help with anything you might need. I will definitely stay again. I checked in about 3 hours early

We booked a suite room for 3 adults and 2 kids and everything was comfy, clean and pretty nice looking. The hotel employees were helpful and treated us well. This hotel is maybe 4 or 5 min walk to the beach. Best location to stay. My only issue was the pool, it was dirty so nobody was ever in it sadly. Pet friendly with a fee but very thankful because I took my chihuahua with me without any problems. Definitely will consider for my next stay.

Super nice!

Only inconveniences, no elevator and $20 per day for parking unless you find a spot at the street, also pool was small but cute and clean. Besides that, super nice, super clean and comfortable and right at the boardwalk! Loved the rooftop and view from it. So relaxing! Mini fridge and microwave in the room, no coffee maker though but DD right next to it. Also best spanish food and great service at the Papelon Restaurant, also steps away! Just book it!

Okay walked around property there are 5 rooms in front on deck with ocean view also side rooms with some ocean view. The room we got was inside and all you could see was a wall. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean, nice and convenient. They advertise themselves as a pet friendly hotel, however, they do not clarify their pet friendly terms on their website. We checked in to be told that one of us would have to be in the room with our 10 lb Chihuahua at all times. That is an unreasonable request when you are at the shore to enjoy the outside and the establishments down there such as restaurants that do not accept pets. Also, they wanted to charge us $20. per night to park our car in their empty parking lot. This too is an unreasonable request. We parked out on the street for free as it was off season.
