Montego Bay Resort offers 105 accommodations with hair dryers and irons/ironing boards. Rooms open to balconies. The hotel is old falling apart The elevator was stuck several times Some of the hallways were dark gloomy and the ceilings had holes or missing drop ceilings pieces the sliding door in our room would not lock and the couch was not working properly and it's probably about 40 years old the uneven floor made it interesting and the thin walls made it difficult to get a good night sleep

We had a very nice room, newly renovated, the Panoramic Suite with ocean view was very homey.

Overall it was very nice. Pro's: Rooms were clean, amazing panoramic view, the location right on the boardwalk and beach access was extremely nice. Cons: Not enough dishware for our party of 6, while the room and main common areas were clean the halls and stairwells were not, the elevator was extremely slow, finding baggage carts was hard, and the 3rd pool is the kiddie pool inside of the large outdoor pool. All in all 4.5 out of 5

The rooms are just a bit dingy and the sliding door to the balcony wasn’t working correctly. The front deck check in woman was very short and rude with me but the rest of the staff was great.

The panoramic suite we stayed in was renovated with a new fridge and stove. It’s clean, and the hotel is off the boardwalk and a short walk to Marine Pier. The room is cold, but the AC is loud. We all didn't sleep well due to how loud the ac was. It’s like sleeping in a construction site. The shower is old and seems like it hasn't been updated. Water temperature is either too hot or too cold, and water pressure is very low.

Thankfully i only stayed one night but for the price it could have had better accommodations. Beds were squeaky and soooo uncomfortable. The air conditioner sounded like a jet plane taking off. The sheets and blanket basically looked and felt like a paper towel. No toilet paper dispenser and just overall outdated and beat up looking. The elevator took forever and is tiny and very scary. Again, so glad i only stayed one night but for almost $500 a night i would have expected nicer accommodations.

The location is amazing! However, our rooms were not comfortable. Funiture very old and uncomfortable, Beds very uncomfortable. Carpets and sofa were stained. Upgrades to the rooms would make this place so much better

This was the dirtiest hotel I ever stayed at. They charged so much money for a hotel room I felt uncomfortable sleeping in. There was slime on the floor in multiple spots, I have pictures. The TV in the living room did not have a remote control. The other TVs in the bedrooms were the super large TVs from the 1980s and none of the channels came in. A few of the outlets in the bedrooms did not work. We booked a family suite and they only left us two towels and then gave us a hard time about getting more towels. They left dishwasher pods to run a dishwasher and the Suite didn’t even have a dishwasher.

Friendly place to stay!

The best thing about this place was the staff. Super friendly and helpful. Great location and a great place to stay! Exactly what we expected, and the kids loved the waterslides. Friendly lifeguards are on duty, and staff are present. Would stay again. My only complaint would be, they seemed to forget they had an outdoor pool. Gate was locked when we tried to visit, no towels or clear time when it was open. Everything else was great!

The bed are horrible for the price paid for 1 night. Our balcony did not lock and when I called front desk he said no one is going to climb on the 6th floor (which where we were) but that’s not the point, if someone has kids I believe they would want them to lock the balcony for safety reasons. The beds we HORRIBLE to sleep on and the sofa bed had all types of stains on it, idk how they’re ok with letting people sleep on there. With the amount of money they charge they should have enough to at least replace the mattress on the sofa bed

Toilet didn't work properly had to use the trash bin to flush the toilet, when I told them about it, the owner threatened to refuse service. They gave my room key to another guests who walked in on me at night then started banging on the door. I told them I would call the police if they kept it up. No manners from the woman owner (claims to be) owner was rude.

Hotel carpet is drity, toilet barely worked. The lady was rude and accused me of lying about the maintenance buy calling me a birch because I told him the toiled was not flushing right. They gave my room key to another guest who entered my room at 9:30 pm. Then sent a maintenance guy banging on my door at 9;45. Their mistake of course. She threatened to refuse service after we booked a hotel for an event. A bully and doesn't care about customer service. She was arrogant and literaly said " if you clog the toilet we will know" meaning I would do that on purpose. I travel a lot and have never seen such low class owner. I told her " I am all for supporting local, but need a toilet that works for 4 nights. My advice and experience. Stay away... there are a lot of hotes better than them.
