I booked this for our staff who were away training. They fed back to me that they really enjoyed staying at the Hopping Hare. The hospitality was amazing and the food was really delicious. It’s definitely somewhere to return to. Thank you for looking after them so well.

Hopping Hare Ho Kay

Quiet location with onsite free parking. Room clean and well laid out. Shower cubicle tiny but has good bathroom amenities. Food good with good service. All in all not a bad place to stay and/or dine.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hopping Hare. Service was exemplary, room was clean and plenty big enough. Restaurant food was a notch above your usual pub grub and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others. We stayed one night for a World Cup rugby match at Franklins Gardens which was within walking distance.

Great place to stay and eat

Stayed one night with family after a driving experience at the nearby aerodrome. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff very friendly and food on the night excellent. Will definitely visit again.

Well run family hotel. Lovely breakfast. Appreciated tower fans as very hot. Not an overtly large room and some scuffing / painting / wallpaper areas to address but very clean. About a 40/45 min walk to town
