The woman at reception was very rude and could not take a joke. She was pressuring me to eat in the restaurant and when I told her I didn’t want a tour of the room she was very angry. Would not recommend

This was a special weekend for us, and very expensive. One of us has health issues requiring early bed and quiet sleep. We had already cancelled a booking when the proprietors warned us a wedding was taking place. We were not warned by hotel Wroxham and on the second night wedding celebrations took place directly beneath our bedroom. There were no other available rooms. Why were we not warned despite many opportunities? Why were we given a room directly above the celebration when this could have been given to a wedding guest? For us the weekend was ruined. Furthermore despite emailing the proprietor twice I have received no response at all.

Beyond expectations
Beautiful hotel with lovely views. Room was lovely clean and comfortable Breakfast was delicious with everything fresh and all staff we encountered were polite and nothing was too much trouble. Couldn’t have wished for a better few days. Well worth a visit we would definitely recommend it

The hotel and its staff were excellent. The only issue we had was the shower was too small. Approx 2ft square. Apparently it’s only the river view rooms which have a larg er shower. My advice is book these rooms only.

Well appointed, cosy hotel with a nice ambience. Rooms well thought out. Comfortable beds with good quality linen and pillows. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Public areas weee stylish and comfortable. Restaurant food overall exquisite with plenty of choice and gluten free options. The only minor negative - there was no USB point in the room
