Unloading/loading was difficult as there is no dedicated space for the hotel, so you have to use the the busy city street. The neighborhood is very noisy on the weekends as it's a college town.

Executive room was super comfortable, lovely huge bed and the bathroom had plenty of room for wash bags etc. Plugs by the bed for phone charging. Helpful staff and convenient location for walking into city centre. The only complaint is the horrific air freshener in reception - it was so overwhelming and disgusting. Just hold your breath when you walk in and you'll be fine!!

A great last minute, but wouldn’t be 1st choice

Last minute selection after booking error with preferred hotel. As booking was around a birthday, was upgraded on check in which was appreciated. Room was very nice on the whole although showing signs of wear. Room menu appeared to have been where someone plucked out all of their eyelashes during a previous stay which hadn’t been cleaned, and the other-side had stains of either food/makeup/blood (unsure). My wife is normally keen to bath but thought the tub looked a little grimy so chose not to before we headed out to our scheduled show. Bar and breakfast area was nice, breakfast was very tasty and a good selection (though nobody checked our room number on arrival and for a good proportion of other people we saw come in). Bed was very comfy and we slept well, curtains kept a good level of dark. Overall we had a good stay and was a great back up hotel but wouldn’t be our first choice if we came to the area again unless the rooms were tidier/updated

Shower / bath needs a deep clean. Water stains and mould on the grout Breakfast is lacklustre. Limited choice for cereals , no compote, cooked breakfast was poor- bacon and sausage overdone and all of it luke warm
