Great hotel for a great price.

Seen a few mixed reviews online but unsure why after staying. Room was clean, a little dusty but smelled nice upon arrival and was very spacious. Noise from the rock city venue nearby can be heard from your room but that’s expected and doesn’t bother me. You get your own kitchen area with a toaster, microwave and oven. Shower was okay but the water kept going cold and hot. Overall bathroom was alright, bed was comfy and it’s got a big fridge to store drinks or food in. They don’t serve a proper breakfast here but you can get free croissants every morning from next to reception. They also have a shop at reception where you can purchase various food items, frozen meals, drinks etc. The TV was great it’s equipped with Netflix, bbc iplayer, Amazon prime and more with people still leaving their accounts logged in which I wasn’t complaining about. One of the best TVs I’ve ever seen a hotel have feature wise. Would definitely recommend a stay here it’s not as bad as some people were making out. All staff friendly and polite.

An amazing night spent at Roomzzz

Greeted with lovely staff members at check in and out, especially as it being our first time. Staff weren’t hesitant at all to provide a good customer service. This studio was clean and spacious - perfect for our girls trip!! Highly recommend

Right next to Rock City

Great location for Rock City but would not stay if I was a solo female traveller as didnt find the area around the hotel pleasant. Guest on same floor was dmoking in thrir toom which travelled through the extractir fan & our room stank if cigarette dmoke. I reported this twice and nothing was done. Check in was a bit if a nightmare, I assumed I had paid in full at the time of booking & this info was correct according to hotels.com booking confirmation, however, the receptionist demanded payment again at check in, even though I showed her my reciept... she wanted to see my bank statement to double check which I obviously wasn't going to give her access too!! Insisted I pay again & take it up with hotels.com for a refund & told me that was their policy and the 3rd party site never passes payment details on to the hotels...I've been using this app for over 10 years & have booked hotels around the world with them, this was the 1st issue with payments I have come across. Although Ive stayed in their Manchester property without a problem, the nottingham experience put me off & I won't book another Roomzz hotel

I thought roomzzz was excellent, while we only stayed for one night so didn't taken full advantage of the kitchenette the fridge was brilliant to store our wine and milk. If you were staying for any length of time it would be perfect for preparing a simple meal or breakfast etc. Roomzzz was modern, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend. Public car parking (Q park) next door, we missed the fact there was a discount voucher from the hotel - check their website

The hotel gave 24 hour notice of a room change to a lower class room which was fine until 6am when the building site 2 metres across the road came into full swing, noisy scaffolders, noisier cement trucks reversing, we weren't informed of this prior to booking, nor were we told about one of the biggest nightclubs in Nottingham being next door and chucking out time was very noisy. We were put in a far smaller room than we booked months ago. even with the windows closed. My birthday treat was spoilt by all of the external very early noises

The room was adequate as were the facilities. The bathroom ventilation was being refurbished, but I was not advised about this before checking in. I may have chosen a different room if I'd known beforehand as the bathroom did have an unpleasant odour.

Not stayed at Roomzzz before and was pleasantly surprised. It was really useful to have kitchenette which made light work of breakfast. It’s not 5 star glam but every thing worked and a really comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay

Terrific hotel but overnight noise problem

The hotel was very clean and the room was comfortable. Unfortunately it backs onto a night club that stays open until 4 a.m., so if you're a light sleeper, book elsewhere. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and apart from the noise it was perfect.
