Novi Vinodolski Vacation Packages

Zonar Zagreb is a nice hotel. The concept is definitely eclectic and borders on “weird,” but we’re not ones to judge that, and we actually enjoyed that aspect of the hotel. We also really enjoyed the gym, and the bed was comfortable. That said, there were a few hiccups during our stay. Upon arrival, we noticed that the room had only one towel, no bath/shower mat, and there was no conditioner or soap available either in the shower or at the sink. We called reception, and the towel issue was resolved fairly quickly. However, the soap was only provided the following day, despite us arriving around 3 PM, while the conditioner was never provided at all. Another reason we chose this hotel was the pool. Unfortunately, the pool was reserved for a large group from 3 PM to 9 PM on both days of our stay. On top of that, the music from the event continued loudly well beyond those hours. This was disappointing, especially since access to the pool was one of the factors we considered when booking the hotel. The pool water was also extremely cold, as it is not heated, which made it difficult to enjoy even when the pool was available. Overall, we didn't dislike the hotel, particularly the comfortable bed, gym, and unique design, but the room-service oversights and limited pool access significantly affected our experience. As a result, we would hesitate to recommend this hotel. N.B: it is relatively far from Zagreb's historical center but we knew that so that is on us.

Perfect location and excellent breakfast

Breakfast could have more variety

Decent breakfast included, pleasant staff… especially nice bar staff. The only thing is, the standard for cleaning the rooms need to be higher .

While the staff was very responsive and friendly, it was hard to overlook the negatives. I’ll start with the positives. Pricing was very attractive when booking. Check in was incredibly easy and efficient. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed the lack of cleanliness. Bugs were everywhere. Spiders and stink bugs were a constant nuisance during our stay. The couch was visibly dirty, and when a couch cushion moved, we found dead bugs under them. The house contained 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom with no extra in stock for us to use if needed. Multiple area rugs in the unit had cigarette holes. The property is beautiful, so it was very disappointing to have these negatives take away from our stay.
