Really, the major issue to the space is the location and the utter lack of restaurants nearby. To get anywhere worth being at, you will need to take a cab or Uber. The staff is kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms clean and mostly functional. There is no coffee maker in the room so coffee must be gotten from outside the restaurant where they don't supply lids so you can't take it to go.

Lovely but disappointing

My room was described as "tropical deluxe" but it faced a massive active construction site. Very noisy and viewless. The hotel was not busy and there were plenty of rooms available overlooking something else but only if I paid an upgrade fee. Not impressed.

Great Hotel and excellent location

This was our 3rd stay at Mio in Nuevo. We really enjoyed the area for access to restaurants, the beach and walking. Room is very spacious and clean. The view from the rooftop is beautiful.

Roof Top Fun in the Sun

We really enjoyed and appreciated our stay for the adult only fact. However adult only hotel should be more lenient with the roof top hours. The rooftop is a nice tranquil feature with pools and hot tubs a bar etc. They say if you got it flaunt it.

Nice hotel, bed was awful built on what looked like a wooden box frame and made a crashing sound each time you moved in it. Room was otherwise nice and very clean. Be aware construction is happening close by so be sure to ask for room facing away from it. I was facing it about the noise didn’t bother me. Rooftop pool was nice, good staff. Pools are ok, shallow. 2 jacuzzi’s. Gym is good.

We had an excellent stay at the Mio. The hotel is quite new and in great shape. There are lots of awesome food options nearby and beach access is a short walk. The breakfast on site was great and well worth the additional cost. Service from all the staff was great but I’d make special mention of Victor the Bellman - he was super helpful in providing local recommendations, was very friendly, and took every opportunity to make our days extra awesome! Thanks to Victor and all the staff

The room was very spacious, clean. Rooftop pools were heated, hot tubs were nicely heated and in working condition, gym was nice with adequate equipment. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent.

Staff was excellent , helpful and friendly. Very happy our room was on the north side of the building. Large construction site on the south side. Bad smell coming from the toilet area that staff tried to address in various ways. Pool area is beautiful , restaurant is expensive and from what we tried not very good.
