Dear reader. Upon entering my room, I proceeded to unpack my bag, and went to plug in my charger when I noticed a black wrapper sticking out from between the mattress and the bed frame. It turned out to be a used Blue Chew wrapper, which is weird, because the bed was neatly made up. Also, there was long hairs on the couch as well. I made it known to the front desk and even showed them the video of my discovery upon entering the room. The sheets remained in the bed and nobody addressed the issue.
This isn’t the norm because I have been staying there every weekend all summer and even had 2 rooms some weekends for my co workers. I spoke to a Representative via text, Loya, and was waiting for a call back which didn’t occur. I called to speak with her based on the number she provided, but my efforts were unacknowledged. I’m shocked and disappointed in the lack of responsibility of the staff especially after having a good rapport with a few other staff members who are very friendly and helpful. I also had the opportunity to save some money by staying at the neighboring hotel, Hilton Garden, at a cheaper rate, but stayed loyal to Hampton Inn. Even this week, I’ll be back at the same location, and upon checking the rates, Hilton Inn was cheaper by more than $100. I’ve stayed there in the past and it isn’t a bad hotel, I just happened to prefer Hampton Inn. Hopefully I will hear from someone very soon in regards to this matter.
