My alleged 4th floor bay view room that I paid a higher rate for had a great view of obstructing palm trees. I would suggest not booking a room with a view that actually has no view. Otherwise the room was comfortable enough. Average room but a convenient location.

What surprised me was the added Destination Fee of $9.99/day when I saw the receipt at checkout. I was not made aware during check-in about that additional daily charge. If I had known then that the added fee was just for the use of the gym and pool, I probably would have opted out. The use of gym and pool normally is not an add-on to the daily hotel rate for hotels I've stayed at.

Everything was perfect. Hotel was amazing and clean. Only thing that was very disappointing was the breakfast. We got "vouchers" that were only good for what they called a buffet. The buffet was literally eggs sausage and potatoes. The staff member said our voucher was for $21 and buffet was $31 but that it was ok like if he was doing me a favor.

Staff at the front desk, Work, disrespectful and racist towards me because I was Palestinian and I overheard one of the front desks employed talking bad about me because I was Palestinian I want to cancel my hotel right when I heard what she was saying but ordering on Expedia it’s not allowed. I checked in and slipped in the shower and the parent desk now and nobody wanted to help me. I wanted to cancel and get a full refund and was not allowed and was refused. I filed a complaint with California business regarding the suspect in the racism that I had in my experience, very unsafe and unhealthy place to go

The hotel was clean and comfortable and felt safe. Nice to know there were amenities there that I might use in a longer stay. I was just there for one night and really appreciated the late check out after a late gig that I had to play in Berkeley.
