Good stay
Good location for football game at Cal Berkeley. Hotel is fine and staff was very helpful. Excellent breakfast. There is a Trader Joe's and BevMo within walking distance as well as plenty of retail shopping. The only thing the area lacks is walkable fine dining. There is an overpriced brazilian steakhouse, but other than that it's typical mall food.

Another great stay!
Room and hotel were excellent as usual. We often stay here when visiting SF or Oakland as it's a bit outside of the bustle of the larger cities yet still very accessible to either drive or ride-share into either location. Staff is extremely friendly, rooms are clean and spacious. Parking at the hotel is somewhat limited but the adjacent parking garage is convenient, well lit, and a short walk to the hotel (literally across the street). Our 5 year old especially loves Emery the robot!

Location good, hotel has cheap upgrades, photos are decieving, front desk staff made check-in a great hassle. If you're on an expense account its ok, but there are nicer places to stay in the Berkeley area. Would not stay here again.

Very reasonably priced property for a short stay in the Bay area. Not too far from the Oakland airport and lots of food and shopping nearby if you're looking to do some exploring. The breakfast was also wonderful. We will definitely be back someday if we're ever out here again!
