The lobby is such a cool vibe. I loved it! The staff was SO kind and accommodating. Loved Jocelyn in the front desk! They really looked out for me during my stay. I will come back just because of them!

Moxy was a great stop for a quick trip to Oakland. The hotel lobby is a great spot to meet with friends prior to going out any time of day. My bed was super comfortable and the room was plenty spacious. The elevator was really slow (and one was out of service) so I took the stairs multiple times which is fine by me. I'd definitely stay here again.

All staff was friendly! Room was a good size. Elevators slow and one wasn’t working. Bar isn’t open except for Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Coffee in lobby was lukewarm. Parking isn’t valet, a security staff members meets you at parking lot across the intersection to provide in/out access. They were out of the beer that is complimentary for guests. Not sure I would return but again all staff I encountered were great.

the shower had ZERO water pressure and the flow was horrible, lighting in room was very dim; also the parking was full and they had no recommendations on where to park as there was no street parking, ended up parking up 10 min away in an already crappy and shady neighborhood, would not recommend staying here again

Good clean place for a short stay. Hotel is a bit unorthodox in some ways but I like it. Rooms are New York style, small but clean, comfortable and well organized. Staff is friendly. The neighborhood is what it is, but if you open your eyes and mind, downtown Oakland is just fine. There are really great restaurants close by.
